Credit & Collections Specialist
Job Description:
Review credit reports, bank references, trade references, and occasionally financial statements to set a credit limit for a new customer or review one for an existing customer.
Identify and locate delinquent customers to collect payments or resolve disputes. This may be done via phone, e-mail, and mail.
Liaison between external customers and internal customers to help resolve disputes preventing payment.
Advise external customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment to prevent product or service delays.
Identify, organize, and document all efforts using computer systems. This includes details about customers and their financial status.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors Accounting preferred
Bachelors Business Administration/Management preferred
Bachelors Marketing preferred
Bachelors Communications preferred
2+ Years Business-to-business credit & collections preferred. Strong Excel skills a plus. ERP system experience and familiarity with accounts receivable specific software is a plus. preferred
Able to use Microsoft Office Applications
National Association of Credit Management (NACM) Certification a plus. preferred
