Trimble is seeking a business-partnering Credit & Collections Analyst to join our European Credit & Collections team. We are flexible on your location but you MUST have excellent business Dutch & French language skills because of the business region you will support and the client base you will work with.
Reporting into the European Credit & Collections Manager, you will work in a medium sized team of C&C Professionals who will partner with various internal departments including Sales, Product Owners and wider Finance to determine the best course of action in managing the credit/debt ceiling with our clients. Whilst client collections is part of this position, this is a nuanced role where you will analyse credit and payment data on clients in your assigned regions and work with internal colleagues to provide them with a detailed analysis and understanding of the options available to the business and senior Collections Management.
Your actions will assist in maximising sales, have a positive impact on cash flow, minimise/reduce bad debts and days sales outstanding for the company whilst ensuring that client relationships are maintained.
What You Will Be Doing:End to end management of the assigned customer portfolio from the account set up to cash collections/dispute management.The majority of time will be spent on collection activities: calling customers, sending statements, and reminder notices.Must interact with customers, internal departments and upper management in a professional manner as needed. This interaction includes providing guidance, direction, and expertise in balancing Credit&Collections techniques, communicating credit limits, credit holds and taking the lead role in workout situations.Make recommendations on bad debt reserves on a monthly basis. Provide auditors with required information relating to bad debt reserves.Be an advocate for the customer by liaising between Trimble business unit(s), the Order-to-Cash team and the customer. Ensure a smooth process flow while maintaining a high level of customer service.Manage risk creatively driving win/win situations between Trimble and customers worldwide.On major past due accounts and orders on hold, deliver timely and concise information to proper BU controllers, sales, and the Credit Manager EMEA.Produce reports as requested by the Credit Manager EMEA or any other internal customers such as business unit controllers.Skills And Experiences You Should Bring:A degree in Business Finance or Accounting or equivalent experienceExperience in international Credit&Collections showing increasing responsibilitiesPortfolio management experience with a company with significant B2B end user sales activitiesStrong analytical, mathematical and account reconciliation skillsProficiency in using Microsoft office and Google WorkspaceEffective written and spoken communication skills with various levels of management and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude is a mustLanguages: Fluency in Dutch, French and English (German or other European languages being a plus)Adaptive to leadership styles that promote collaboration, teamworkSalary & Benefits:Competitive salary that is dependent upon your experience and location but will be market leadingBonus potential of up to 3% of Base SalaryAnnual leave in line with country normsIncome Protection ArrangementsCompany Pension SchemeLife AssuranceAccess to our Employee Share SchemeWhat you will find:
