Job Duties
Driver / operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficientdelivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance toFedEx features of service and provides related customer servicefunctions. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from anotherperson. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neatappearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualificationsas outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safetyregulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FHWA or FAAregulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical examrequired. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safemanner.
