Pay Range: $21.63 - $28.87
Responsible for operational support of credit facilities with correspondent banks. Specific products supported include letters of credit (both domestic and international), participations (both sold and bought), syndications, and interest rate swaps. Responsible for ensuring appropriate documents, loan set up, invoices, and systems are prepared correctly. Liaison for the lines of business to construct loan and/or letter of credit documents that meets customer’s needs while maintaining compliance with policy. Assist department managers with the development and maintenance of credit documentation policy and procedures. Analyze loan approval records, prepares documents, apply payments, and disburse funds in accordance with bank policy and procedures.
Education and Experience:
Associates degree in a Business-related field or the equivalent of education and experience Credit experience with Credit Policy knowledge required
Legal or Paralegal experience desirable
5 -10 Years of Loan, Participation, or Letter of Credit experience
Skills and Abilities:
Self-starter (ie – after initial managerial direction, candidate is able to complete assigned tasks, identify issues not addressed and escalate appropriately)
Strong organizational and communications skills, as this role will involve dealing with different levels of both internal and external parties. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize responsibilitiess, think independently, evaluate potential risks and escalate items appropriately.
Ability to meet aggressive deadlines in a dynamic environment with a high degree of accuracy
Proficient in Excel and Word. Ability to competently use supporting systems such as: Nautilus, FiServe, Laser Pro
The incumbent should have sound knowledge of legal statutes that pertain to commercial lending including contract and UCC law, collections, compliance, etc.

Tasks Performed:
30% Accurately process transactions and prepare documents based on interpretation of relevant data from bank loan approvals and legal documents
30% Work with internal and external contacts regarding documentation and specifics of these complex transactions. Contacts include General Counsel, attorneys, and correspondent banks. Provide expertise/guidance in the structure of the request. Provide support to internal and external customers.
15% Assist department managers in the development of related policy and procedures. Act as primary support and subject matter expert for systems supporting correspondent loan support functions. Assist with the administration of related software/ vendor systems and act as subject matter expert on such systems.
15% Monitor and track workflow to meet established service levels and minimize risk. Maintain tracking logs.
5% Act as subject matter expert for other bank employees. Provide counsel and training as appropriate.
5% Other duties as assigned
