About the team + role
We are looking for a dependable, intellectually curious, and experienced leader in the Broker Dealer sector to lead Robinhood’s corporate treasury team. As Corporate Treasurer, you will have broad responsibilities across:
Maintaining the financial health of the company Liquidity and risk management Capital markets Business and product enablement Corporate and entity treasury operations and investments This role will be the Treasury leader for the firm and work directly on the financial health, capital allocation, risk management, and strategic goals of the company. This role also presents the opportunity to work with multiple teams across Robinhood such as product, engineering, operations, finance, compliance, and legal.
It is preferred that this role is located in one of the office locations listed on this job description which will align with our in-office working environment. This position is only eligible for remote work in limited geographies within the US where we do not have physical office locations. What you’ll do
Liquidity: Oversee the strategy and execution of total available liquidity and stress testing at the parent company to support the broker-dealer businesses, crypto, and spending (credit card and debit card business). Both in the US and as the company scales overseas Risk Management: Lead our counterparty risk committee at the parent entity and partner with cross functional leadership on risk management across products, counterparties, capital losses, and automated solutions, tooling, and monitoring Capital Markets: Partner with the Head of Capital Markets on funding needs including multiple revolving credit lines across the parent, broker-dealer, and credit subsidiaries. In conjunction with Head of Capital Markets, manage rating agencies, commercial banking, and investment banking relationships Business and product enablement: Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Treasury and other cross functional teams in support of new brokerage, crypto, spending, and credit products initiatives. Both in the US and overseas as Robinhood expands into new geographies Corporate and entity treasury operations: With the Head of Treasury Operations, oversee corporate treasury operations and centralized customer facing entity treasury operations teams. Maintain oversight over the treasury investment portfolio and investment management policy. Responsibility for public company quarterly Treasury SOX controls administration and disclosures, cash flow forecasting, and interest rate sensitivity and hedging strategy Partnership with Finance: Partner with Robinhood’s Finance team to improve balance sheet optimization and assessment of key metrics, risks, and ROIC goals for the Brokerage business. In conjunction with Finance, analysis and forecasting of NII, AUC, Securities Lending, and customer cash activity
What you bring
15+ years experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, Banking, or related financial services field, with demonstrated leadership experience in the retail Brokerage space required Prior retail Brokerage corporate treasury experience with a excellent working knowledge of retail Brokerage products and sector, liquidity monitoring and oversight, risk management, capital markets, and treasury operations Deep understanding of brokerage free credit balances (15c3-3), cash sweep programs, fully paid and margin securities lending, and retail equities and derivative trading products Public company corporate treasury experience preferably in the retail Brokerage industry and/or retail financials services Experience with retail crypto treasury operations, credit and debit card funding, and/or money transmitter licenses (MTLs) is a plus Demonstrated ability of presenting to senior management and board of directors Comfort working independently across cross-functional internal teams and external relationships, and the ability to project manage large scale projects Ability to get things done and be comfortable with ambiguity Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, mathematics, or a related field Bonus Points:
Graduate degree such as an MBA or in related technical field preferred Deep Experience and understanding of the broker-dealer sector and US equities market structure, crypto assets and industry, credit and debit card products, and/or money transmitter licenses (MTLs) Strong interest in fintech and knowledge of the industry Passion for consumer and mobile first technologies

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
