Draft, review, and finalize Recruiting Services/Contingent Worker Agreements; Independent Contractor Agreements; Direct Placement Agreements; Repayment Agreements; Non-Compete and Non-Solicitation Agreements.
Draft, review, and finalize Severance Agreements.
Provide administrative support with day-to-day operations and activities, as well as special legal projects and legal initiatives.
Provide support for EEOC charges, employment litigation, environmental, and OSHA matters.
Assist with the preparation of responses to subpoenas and employee record requests.
Conduct legal research.
Draft and manage litigation hold memorandum.
Utilize matter management tools and MS Office 365 applications to create reports, presentations and other legal resources as needed.
Utilize business tools to organize and archive legal documents, reports and references.
Must be able to quickly learn and navigate corporate business structure.
Must have ability to work directly with and gain client confidence.
Must have ability to work independently and with the utmost discretion.
Basic:
Certificate or Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies OR bachelor’s degree.
7+ years’ experience as a paralegal in a corporation, law firm or both.
HS Diploma
Experience with drafting, reviewing, and finalizing with contracts: Recruiting Services/Contingent Worker Agreements; Independent Contractor Agreements; Direct Placement Agreements; Repayment Agreements; Non-Compete and Non-Solicitation Agreements.
Proficient in MS Office 365 suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Some travel to attend business related meetings either domestic or abroad - possibly up to 15-20%.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Self-motivated and efficient, with good business judgment and excellent communication and time management skills.
Clear understanding and adherence to ethical principles, company values, codes of conduct and corporate policies.
Good judgment and multitasking capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Forward-thinking and creative, with the confidence to present and advocate for the implementation of ideas, processes, procedures.
