The Corporate Licensing Program Manager on the Legal team will manage the timely filing of state and federal licensing applications, communicate with state and federal agencies, and review the licensing applications prepared by Licensing Operations team members. This role will report to the Manager, Corporate Licensing and involve working collaboratively with various individuals throughout the company.
Your Success Profile
Develop, implement, and manage a robust compliance program ensuring timely and accurate filing and reporting, including, but not limited to, PEO licensing application preparation and filing, CPEO and ESAC reporting, and state client addition and termination customer reporting.
Monitor federal, state, and local PEO reporting and filing requirements and implement changes across the program as needed.
Communicate regularly with state agencies and the IRS to ensure continued licensing compliance.
Collaborate with Licensing Operations, Payroll Tax, Workers’ Comp., Benefits Operations, and Finance teams in connection with reporting and filing obligations, as necessary.
Maintain and track regulatory reporting submission trackers for ESAC, CPEO, and annual reports.
Formalize internal licensing/accreditation processes and enhance controls.
Support record-keeping and annual compliance, including maintaining business licensing and state qualification records.
Help drive compliance program awareness and perform other related responsibilities based on department and/or organizational needs.

Minimum of 5 years of regulatory compliance experience preferred or corporate paralegal experience
Minimum of 5 years experience in licensing and/or permitting, preferably PEO licensing
Experience working with government agencies
Have a high attention to detail working in a strict deadline-driven environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management, organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented skills
Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $109,000.00 to $119,900.00 per year.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
