JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Corporate Relations Officer, the Corporate Engagement Coordinator is essential to the execution of the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Membership and Sponsorship program. The position is responsible for providing high-quality administrative support, project coordination, data management, donor service, prospect research, benefit fulfillment, and sponsor activations.
Essential Functions:
Implement Corporate Membership fulfillment and communication calendar:Produce upgrade/renewal/lapsed/acquisition correspondence on scheduleProcess membership and sponsorship payments promptly and accuratelyGenerate accurate and timely acknowledgment and benefits fulfillment packagesEnsure accurate activity, contact, and participation information in CRM systemAnswer questions from corporate guests regarding their pass and ticket reservations and redemptionsLiaise with colleagues across the organization to ensure successful onsite sponsorship activation and other deliverables.Prepare reports and presentations as requested.Coordinate smaller-scale stewardship events, such as lunches and tours.
Supports colleagues with arrangements for meetings and donor visits.Arranges for on-site catering and reserves facility usage.Delivers content for proposals as requested, including drafting/editing fundraising copy and compiling proposal packages, such as corporate giving applications and sponsorship solicitations.Provides general office support to Corporate Relations projects, including performing in-office administrative tasks such as supply and collateral inventory oversight, scanning, filing, and mailing.Support the execution of other philanthropy team projects and activities, including onsite event staffing.Adheres to all organizational and departmental policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned or required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree preferred.Experience or desire to pursue a career in fundraising preferred.Interest in/passion for the mission of the National Aquarium required.Advanced computer skills. Expertise in Microsoft Word (including mail merge functions), Excel, and PowerPoint required. Experience with Outlook, Teams, Zoom a plus.Excellent organizational skills and ability to set and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment required.Excellent writing, spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills and outstanding oral communication skills required.Experience in customer service setting preferred.Must demonstrate initiative, the ability to work effectively as a member of a team and a commitment to providing quality service.Must be a proactive team-player who possesses strong problem-solving skills and wants to enjoy work and colleagues.Must have the ability to work some evening and weekend hours as required.
