Corporate Compliance Officer Job Location Other-Remote Office ID 2023-10728 Status Full Time Shift Day Schedule Varied Hours of Work 8:00am - 4:30pm Responsibilities Guide corporate compliance management practices and elements of an effective compliance program. Provide open communication to increase the organization's ability to identify and respond to compliance related risks and functions. Provide analysis, guidance, and training on areas of compliance across Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation. Support the business operations at Hazelden Betty Ford to guide corporate compliance and assist with mitigating risk pertinent to state and federal regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, other industry standards, and Hazelden Betty Ford standards, policies and procedures. Responsibility for compliance related communication, education and training to assure the organization is functioning in an ethical manner and with integrity Establish, implement, and maintain a system for routine auditing and monitoring along with communication of identified compliance risk areas within the organization Investigate adverse events and other incidents Guide applicable business unit leaders in the process of application and maintenance of licensure as well as preparation for, participation in, and response to regulatory audits, surveys, unannounced visits, and other activities with external regulatory bodies Participate in organizational committees and projects to guide compliance efforts This opportunity is fully remote. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field 5 years of experience in a licensed clinical care or compliance role at a healthcare organization Familiarity with computer applications (electronic medical records, Microsoft, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail High level of resilience and ability to remain calm under pressure/during difficult or challenging situations Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding highly sensitive information Ability to adapt and change priorities Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree Clinical work experience Prior training experience Training or Certification in Healthcare Compliance Min USD $71,781.00/Yr.
