Position Summary
Position requires working Saturdays and Sundays; shift start varies from 6:30AM CST to 9:30AM CST.- The Coordinator I Prior Authorizations Operations, Clinical Services role will be responsible for performing non-clinical activities and functions in accordance with policies and procedures, under the supervision of the Clinical Services Supervisor.- Responsible for reviewing and maintaining compliance with ERISA, CMS, Medicaid, and client specific requirements.- Works as part of the team to meet business unit objectives.- Further responsibilities include performing quality reviews and assisting as a subject matter expert (SME).-Monitors PA communications for printing and IVRs, processes manual IVRs, light outbound call work, researches communication errors and creates cases for resolution
Required Qualifications - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel).- Strong working knowledge of Windows based applications.- Effective problem solving skills, analytical ability.- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interpret data.- Strong data entry skills, with minimum 30-40 WPM.- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.- Medical / pharmacy terminology background. Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$17.00 - $28.45
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
