Position Summary The FinanceCoordinator applies the principles of accounting to cheese productionand packaging activities. Analyzes plant cost and yield variances.Processes various reports and reconciliations in support ofmanufacturing operations. Interacts with and supports variousdepartments to achieve company\'s core strategies. Position will supportall accounting functions and ensure accuracy and timeliness ofaccounting data. * Prepares weekly plant forecasts and analyzesvariance reports. * Performs month and year-end close activities. *Provides monthly plant P&L with results explanations. * Involved in theaccounting and reporting of fluid milk purchases and usages for theplant. * Coordinates and reconciles monthly physical inventoryprocesses. * Supports internal and external audits. * Reviews dailyplant operational documents and production records. * Creates/reviewsBill of Materials (BOMs) for new products, and product changes, andensures that they are accurately costed. * Supports plant leadershipteam to gain understanding of plant productivity and cost variances. *Adheres to the Saputo Code of Ethics and actively apply the Saputovalues. * Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements * HighSchool Diploma or Equivalent. Bachelor\'s degree in accountingpreferred. * Accounting experience in a manufacturing environmentrequired; dairy processing background preferred. * Proficient inMicrosoft Office Suite and computer-based accounting ERP applications.SAP experience preferred. * Excellent verbal and written communicationskills. * Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operationalneeds; ability to lead others through change. * Ability to handlemultiple tasks simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment. * Skill inorganization and prioritization, and attention to detail. * Strong teamplayer and leader with the ability to work across multiple functions anddisciplines.
