Responsible for preparation of hot and cold foods in North Dining.Including receiving, storing, preparing, cooking, garnishing, andpresentation of the food. Responsible for appropriate training ofemployees assigned to North Dining food production area. Responsible forthe general upkeep, sanitation, and safe operation of all equipment andwork area. Other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time position that will not have scheduled hours duringthe month of mid-May to mid-August, unless work is available. Thisposition is heavy in manual labor and requires the physical ability tolift up to 50 pounds frequently and in excess of 50 pounds occasionally.Exposure to hot surfaces, floor spills, chemical cleaners, operateelectrical equipment, and use of sharp utensils. Noisy, sometimes hotwork areas that are humid.
