Position Overview
As a Control Room Operator, you will be responsible for the remotemonitoring, operation, and analysis of Invenergy\'s fleet of wind,solar, and battery facilities.
Responsibilities
Remotely monitor and reset wind turbines, solar inverters, and otherplant equipmentManage balance of plant controls: power/curtailments, voltage,reactive power, other controlsCommunicate and coordinate with site technicians, customers, andthird-party customersAnalyze data and trends, troubleshoot and diagnose issues orescalate to appropriate personnelMonitor weather at sites for safety of on-site technicians andpersonnelWork independently or collaboratively on projects and initiativesthat enhance the operations and reliability of the control centerAbility to achieve PJM Generator Operator Certification within 6monthsPosition will be on a rotating shift that will require the person towork nights, weekends, and some holidaysRequired Skills
Bachelor\'s Degree in a course of study that demonstrates stronganalytical and technical skillsOr 2 years of relevant experienceOr military service experience in positions that requirecommunication and analytical and decision-making skillsPreferred Skills
Experience with SCADA systems, preferably focused on wind or solaroperationsExperience with data monitoring software such as PIStrong oral and written communication skillsProblem solving and critical thinkingExperience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Individuals receiving conditional offers of employment will be subjectto drug testing and must receive a negative result to begin working forthe company.
