Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment as an integral member of aprofessional Contracts Department. Review, draft, negotiate, andadminister a wide variety of Creare contracts with outside entities(government agencies, industry customer, consultants, subcontractors,vendors, etc.). Identify contractual risks to Creare management and takenecessary actions to mitigate. Effectively and tactfully communicate,negotiate, and coordinate with internal staff and external entities tomeet overall contract and business objectives and ensure favorable termsand conditions are established. Review and ensure proposal compliancewith RFP requirements and contribute to accurate cost proposalpreparation. Document policies and procedures and lead projects relatedto Contracts Department functions.\\The follows skills and attributes are essential:
Critical thinking, including devising creative solutions to resolvenew and unexpected issues/uncertain situations.Attention to detail, accuracy, and fastidious organization.Excellent oral and written communication skills, includingappropriate delegation to and teaming with Contracts Departmentstaff, project engineers, purchasing and accounting staff, othermanagers, senior corporate management, and contractualcounterparties.Ability to flexibly prioritize and re-prioritize as needed.Strong working knowledge and skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, andOutlook.Commitment to continuous improvement and efficiency.\Knowledge of risk management, intellectual property, databasemanagement, and familiarity with ERP systems are a plus. Much of Crearesbusiness is with the federal government, so experience with governmentcontracting and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) would beanother plus.
