Description
Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented Contracts Manager to support Amazon Web Services (AWS), a dynamic and rapidly growing business within Amazon.com.
AWS is at the forefront of the "cloud" computing and service industry, providing IT infrastructure services such as on-demand compute capacity, storage, content delivery, database services, browsers, and more. As part of the AWS real estate legal team, you will work on a team responsible for supporting AWS’s worldwide data center expansion.
You will have transactional drafting and negotiating responsibilities on service agreements, work orders, easements, lease amendments and other real estate documents, providing day-to-day contracting advice to business team members. You will support AWS’s existing real estate portfolio and work cross-functionally with other teams. You will drive process improvements and initiatives to track and simplify real estate transactions from beginning to end. You will manage outside counsel, create and lead trainings, and more.

Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years of contracts management, paralegal, or other comparable experience within a law firm, legal department, or property management or real estate development company with experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts.
• Real estate and/or construction contract experience
• Project management experience

• Effective at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks of varying duration and complexity

• Bachelor’s degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $146,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
