Job Description
TDI is looking to hire an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our growing team.The Contract Administrator will administer Prime Contracts as well as subcontracts from inception to close-out ensuring compliance with government requirements. You will interface with contracting officers, technical points of contact, contractors, TDI program managers and other TDI employees for all contractual matters, including drafting, preparing and executing internal and external correspondence under the direction of the contracts manager. The ideal candidate shall possess experience reviewingand administering various types of government contracts and subcontracts. Principal Duties/Responsibilities:Perform ongoing contract and subcontract administration activities for a portfolio of contracts in accordance with established company, customer, and government regulations.Preparation of requests for additional funding; modifications to implement changes to contract and subcontract agreements; and other complex contract actions, including processing funding modifications for additional funds or de-obligating funds for signature when required.Administer, monitor, track and record contract activities to ensure timeliness, accuracy and compliance with contract terms as well as resolve performance issues.Review, monitor and track deliverables and reporting requirements.Submit monthly government reports to meet CDRL requirements.Support internal/external audit activities as well as data request from internal/external customers.Prepare contract close-outs and prepare required documentation for signature.Process modifications and briefs for both prime and subcontracts.Review and analyze solicitations for potential risks.Review terms and conditions on all new contracts and subcontracts as well as consulting agreements.Coordinate with legal counsel on new or unusual terms and/or agreements to ensure protection of company interests.Prepare and review Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure and Subcontract Agreements.Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements:Minimum 5+ years of increasingly responsible experience with government contract administration (and proposal writing) preferably with DoD or feder l services-specific contracts administration.Experience with all contract types, including Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Firm Fixed Price, Time and Materials, and Incentive Fee.Experience creating proposal artifacts and responding to requests for proposals (RFPs), including pricing and analysis of RFP terms and conditions.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required.Experience in contractadministration, teaming agreements, consulting agreements, and other corporate legal documents such as non-disclosure.
Special Requirements:Experience using CostPoint is required; knowledge of the Contracts, Planning, and Budgeting modules of this system is a plus.FSO experience is a plus.Proposal pricing experience preferredDoD Contract Management for the Navy is requiredStrong analytical skills required
Skills and Abilities:Proficient with computer software including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the interpersonal skills to deal effectively with management and staff regarding Contracts issues with high degrees of complexity and work all issues to resolution.Must have the ability to handle multiple contractual activities with a short turn-around time, and work as part of a Team.Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.Must be a U.S. citizen.Keen attention to detail with an ability to spot errors.
