Description:
In this role, it's a contract filling in for a medical leave. They are unsure of the length due to a current employee but minimum 3 months.
Main Responsibilities will be using a multitude of measuring tools-micrometers, calipers, gauges.
Review blueprints and routings to determine manufacturing conformance.
Lifts and positions workpieces on work bench, comparator, or surface plate to measure
Inspects components at various stages of production process to determine and maintain quality requirements.
Uses micrometer, caliper, comparator, or other measuring equipment to ensure components meet customers’ requirements.
Records inspection data and/or applies statistical quality control procedures.
Evaluates data and writes reports validating or indicate deviations from existing standards.
Maintains records for all customer files and inspections records conformity and defects found during inspection.
Set up and perform destructive and non-destructive testing as needed to measure internal configurations.
Calibrates company and personal measuring equipment. Use outside calibration services for any equipment that cannot be done in house.
