As a Contract Manager in the Execution Group, youwill support the execution of contracts pertaining to the sale and service of SiemensEnergy’s portfolio. The position will perform a full range of contractual services during theexecution phase of the contract management life cycle. The successfulcandidate will work independently and as a member of a regionally basedmultidisciplinary team concurrently engaged in multiple projects.
HowYou’ll Make an Impact
Draft, review, analyze, modify,and negotiate contractual documents, change orders. for existing New Unit and Serviceagreements in execution.
Handle claims and supportpotential settlements.
Summarize risks for review andapproval by management.
Providing advice/recommendationand interpretation of contract requirements, obligations, and risk exposure tothe applicable business partners.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in business, politicalscience, or engineering.
Juris Doctorate preferred.
At least 5+ years of experiencehandling complex contracts.
Proven claim management.
Self-driven individual with the abilityto formulate logical and pragmatic approaches and make effectiverecommendations to address complex issues.
Strong negotiations skills withthe ability to support a matrixed negotiating team.
Flexibility to adjust to changingrequirements, schedules, and priorities.
Excellent verbal communication andwriting skills with demonstrated ability to develop and communicate clearly andconcisely with all levels of stakeholders.
Experience with commercialcontracts desired.
Experience in industrial or energymarkets preferred but not required.
Ability to travel domestically andinternationally.
Fluent and written English and Spanish are required.
