Job DetailsJob Summary:The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for the creation, implementation, and the ongoing training and development for the Lean and Continuous Improvement culture at Haemonetics in Clinton, PA. They will promote process improvement methodologies, such as X-Matrix, Lean Daily Management, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Cell Operating System, A3s, DMAIC projects & other impactful tools and techniques.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develops the Company's Lean methodology and tool sets using leading subject matter insights and practices.
Develops and obtains buy-in on a deployment strategy along with business leaders.
Trains and coaches Company personnel in the methodology and tool sets of our Lean methodology.
Obtains buy-in, motivates the organization, and monitors team compliance with the use of the tools and adherence to the process.
Schedules/selects Lean projects aligned to the Company's greatest need and strategic priorities in partnership with the corresponding business owners.
Develops methods of communicating the Company's Lean and C.I. progress and successes across the Corporation.
Coordinates monthly Steering Council meetings and report outs on the status of all aspects of the program, through measurable positive business outcomes.
Ensures effectiveness of the Lean and C.I. program in meeting our strategic goals and objectives through relevant True North metrics.
Leads the rollout of Lean Daily Management, including developing and displaying the site's Key Business Metrics. Educates personnel in the content & format of the metrics.
Investigates and recommends the use of leading edge Process Improvement technologies and methods. Shares best practices across the corporation.
Participates in franchise, functional, and corporate level process improvement activities and teams.
Leads and facilitates cross-functional teams addressing key strategic business issues, ensuring joint accountability for success.
Promotes Data-Driven Decision making at all levels at the site.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. A master's degree is a plus.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification is preferred.
Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in process improvement and Lean methodologies.
Excellent data analysis skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
Strong project management and change management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and lead cultural change.
