About You
As the Continuous Improvement Leader in our Koblenz Mill, you will cover a fundamental position within the EMEA Continuous Improvement team for Kimberly-Clark Professional. You will be responsible to provide leadership, vision, coordination and functional direction to the Mill leadership team for all elements to the development, introduction and sustainability of LEAN operating principles and associated tools and processes.
You will report to the Plant Manager and you will manage one direct report.
YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Facilitating, promoting and supporting LEAN cultural development which will include coaching and development of the Leadership Team to use LEAN techniques and LEAN assessment tools
• Helping the Leadership Team to identify opportunities and gap areas and facilitating the development, introduction and tracking of standard work
• Creating and implementing LEAN standards that others can follow
• Developing the Strategy and the delivery of breakthrough areas by supporting the Mill Leadership in Strategy Deployment sessions, Problem Solving Activities and Implementation of LEAN tools
• Working with Lean Regional and Global Resources to develop, facilitate and manage the introduction of new tools within the Mill
• Developing and managing systems and processes to ensure compliance with Plan, Do, Check, and Adjust processes within the Mill
• Leading the Change Leader in the Mill
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
Bachelor / Master Degree, with a preferred formal LEAN qualification and exposure to Lean Six SigmaPrevious significant experience in similar roles, applying LEAN principles ideally in consulting, project management or in a manufacturing environmentPrevious experience with Change ManagementFacilitation and influencing skills to encourage cross functional workingOpen and communicative personality, you can easily join different teams with different cultural backgrounds and drive the work of the teamsExcellent Communication skills (written and verbal) in German and English
