Description
We are looking for an experienced content developer with proven experience designing and delivering process and technical content for a global audience. The Content Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality content for AWS sales planning products and processes.
Key job responsibilities
You will play a vital role in making sure that the details of our processes and tooling are clearly described and easy to understand. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, strong program management skills, ability to navigate and thrive in ambiguity, and technical aptitude that enables effective partnership with product and program managers. Your role is essential to bringing to life topics like process mapping, data governance, and new tool launches.
Our audience includes sales operations employees, sales managers, and sales leadership as well as partner teams in data, revenue, and compensation teams. Our content helps them understand how teams operationalize the go-to-market strategy to support their teams.
Specific responsibilities include:
Plan, write, edit, and manage a robust library of clear, comprehensive, builder-facing content, including user guides, product how-to guides, FAQs, and support content.
Partner deeply with cross-functional teams from program and product management as well as support to gather information and understand what’s required to author content to support our users.
Ensure structure, organization, and detail across all content is accurate, up-to-date, and complies with team standards
Assist in driving end-to-end communications strategies across multiple channels to successfully reach and inform sales planners of key updates and launches
Your work will help to promote a self-service approach, addressing knowledge gaps to reduce support inquiries and keeping pace of changes to processes, policy, and tools functionality. Our goal is to provide a trusted content that guides customers through our processes and answers questions before they arise.
