Johnson & Johnson Med Tech: Vision Care is recruiting for an ACUVUE(r) Consumer Digital Brand Manager, located in Pinewood, Wokingham, UK.
This high-priority role has day-to-day responsibility for the delivery of our consumer marketing strategy. From understanding consumer insights to delivering campaigns that drive consumer engagement, new wearer conversion and wearer retention this position leads our consumer communications. Working withing the UK/IRE marketing team for Johnson & Johnson Vision (JJV) you will be one of several marketers working across the ACUVUE® brand portfolio reporting into a Group Brand Manager.
With a high level of digital marketing expertise and consumer media understanding you'll be passionate about delivering results, and we'll rely on you to drive our consumer initiatives. A cross-functional collaborator this brand manager will work with our marketers, customers and the wider business across both professional and consumer marketing. As custodians of our brand our marketers drive both consumer demand, and eye care professional advocacy, to build equity and long-term performance.
What you will be doing:
Own and deliver the business plan for ACUVUE® Consumer Communications
Driving business value through audience understanding and targeting.
Delivering analysis and actionable insights to build marketing performance.
Designing initiatives and campaigns collaborating closely with brand colleagues, agency partners and internal teams.
Driving consumer engagement with paid media and always-on (owned channel) digital activities.
Maintain excellence in execution and performance improvement for consumer communications driving impact through:
Consumer website strategy inc. content and PPC/SEO
Email marketing and database management
Social media strategy
Online support for consumer experience inc. Live Chat feature
Launching / upgrading digital capabilities with new technologies to enhance consumer engagement.
Offering multidisciplinary consumer expertise to brand teams
Unlock category growth by succeeding with our key customers to drive contact lens category growth and market share by:
Acting as marketing lead within relevant Customer Activation Team (CAT) to support strategy and execution for assigned customer.
Delivering subject matter expertise (consumer comms/digital marketing) across cross-functional teams.
Supporting customer execution - selling decks and other assets, national sales meeting training/briefing sessions.
Qualifications
What you will bring
No formal education demanded with recognised capabilities and experiences favoured. Degrees and corresponding higher education qualifications considered very positively.
Brand manager with the confidence and experience to take the reins in this high priority role.
Critical to be co-operative, self-sufficient, hard-working and focused on delivery with the ability to drive high-performance and own areas of responsibility.
Outstanding verbal, numerical and analytical skills

Other considerations would be a plus:
Digital marketing skills and experience preferable but not required with demonstrated marketing proficiency or ability to learn quickly.
Understanding of Consumer and Professional Marketing Communications. Healthcare experience would be valuable.
Experience with database management, CMS systems, web analytics and copy clearance processes useful.
High-calibre individuals with ability to develop in role will be considered.
Main office base – Pinewood Campus, Wokingham - 2-3 days per week working with the team.
Occasional travel around the UK e.g., conferences, work-with days with sales reps (1 or 2 per month). Occasional trips within EMEA (1 or 2 per year)
