  Job Description What a Payment Platforms Consultant does at Visa:

  The role holder will specialize in supporting our suite of value-add services (VAS) that includes our dispute system, risk management system and data analytics platform system as well as guiding our clients to use these optimally to maximize their business benefits. Key elements of the role include:

  Use technical expertise blended with business acumen to solve complex problems and provide guidance to other team members

  Act as the primary point of contact, coordinating and communicating the resolution of key client incidents or problems

  Foster close partnership and collaboration with key external ecosystem stakeholders and internal groups such as Product, Technology and Client account teams to deliver growth objectives

  Be the subject matter expert by leveraging deep knowledge of client pain points and creative problem-solving skills to propose potential enhancements and solutions

  Provide technical aptitude and expertise for Visa’s products and services, adapt technical concepts to drive business outcomes. This includes developing knowledge of supporting technology, competitive technology, and in-house alternatives. Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical users

  This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

  Qualifications What you will need:

  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification6+ years of experience in the payments industry supporting a dispute system, risk management system or data analytics platformWillingness to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment and be flexible with multi-tasking and changing prioritiesLeadership qualities that embody the Visa Leadership Principles of leading courageously, being obsessed about customers, collaborating as One Visa and executing with excellenceStrong communication skills, with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders effectively and concisely, influencing through impactful oral and written communicationsAbility to learn fast, work independently, make good decisions with limited information, and perform well under pressureClear verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills in negotiating and influencing internal and external stakeholdersOrganized self-starter, result oriented, and a passion for scaling new products

  What will also help:

  Visa experience or knowledge of the payments industryExperience in Ecommerce / Web TechnologiesSupport experience with XML and JSON APIs (Note: this is not a developer role, but foundational knowledge is necessary) Additional Information Visa is an EEO Employer.
