About the role

　　Infosys Consulting's Oil & Gas Practice is looking for an experienced Digital Consultant with Upstream O&G sector experience. You will be a vital member of a highly talented, diverse team, and work at the forefront of client engagements. As a Consultant - Functional Business Analyst, you will deliver business outcomes by leveraging digital technologies and automation, focusing on data, processes, people, and technology. You will provide domain/ functional assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.

　　ResponsibilitiesListen to client's business problem, identify opportunities, and translate them into requirements

　　Conduct research and engage with stakeholders to facilitate adoption of newer technologies / standards / methodologies for process improvements

　　Implement fit-for-purpose solutions to meet the business requirements

　　Lead Joint Application Design sessions, coordinate and collaborate with different teams and stakeholders

　　Ensure solutions adhere to the client's IT standards and practices

　　Test all solution aspects including, but not limited to user acceptance and integration

　　Develop regular project status reports, performance metrics and provide them to client leadership

　　Contribute to Infosys growth by engaging in proposals and other pre-sales activities

　　Ability to define workflow for improvements and resolving issues

　　Prepares functional and technical requirements for new systems and updates to existing systems

　　Assesses customer requirements, and evaluates and documents possible solutions

　　Researches and collaborates with other project teams tasked with identifying current and future business needs

　　Develops and maintains user documentation and instructions for all systems for which he or she is responsible

　　Defines processing logic and translates high level business requirements into detailed functional and technical design documents

　　Works closely with the beta test team to develop and analyze functional and operational testing

　　Throughout the development process works to ensure results conform to defined requirements

　　Maintains customer's confidence by demonstrating knowledgeable of critical success factors

　　Basic qualificationsBachelors / Masters degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related IT fields

　　Minimum 5+ years of IT industry experience, and 3+ years of experience in the capacity of a Functional Business Analyst

　　English level 80-90%

　　Extensive experience in customer facing roles in developing and delivering impactful presentations to stakeholders

　　Hands on knowledge in Business Process Modeling, Fit-Gap analysis and Business Process Re-engineering

　　Has a deep knowledge in at least one of the Oil & Gas process areas such as exploration, development, production, and facilities, midstream, downstream, trading and chemicals

　　Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and hands on expertise in Agile tools - Azure DevOps or JIRA

　　Proficient in performing data analysis using MS Excel

　　Desired candidate will be able to navigate ambiguous situations and solve business problems using a consulting approach

　　Exceptional written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills

　　Quick learner with a passion for technology

　　Willing to travel 4 days a week to different states, cities in the United States

　　Ability to work across time-zones in both remote (from home) and onsite locations

　　Preferred qualificationsHands on experience in SQL and performing data analysis

　　Agile certification (e.g., SAFe, CSM), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Advanced Level Business Analyst (CALBA), or equivalent

　　Big 4 or similar consulting experience

　　This job may entail an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
