Our Water professionals work with clients to restore and sustain water resources across the world. We approach project work from an integrated perspective with a strong local presence supported by national experts in drinking water, wastewater treatment, water resources and program management, and this provides you with opportunities to work on transformational projects throughout the Country. Using natural and infrastructure components, we work smart to achieve our client’s environmental, economic and social objectives. Our practice is built on a foundation of service-oriented professionals driven to help identify the best course of action. Industry collaboration is another key part of our practice. We are active participants in professional water associations and research foundations. Our experts have developed industry guidelines and provided tech-transfer training to provide vision, value and service to our communities.
Responsibilities:
Observe the work and make sure it is being done via the contracts
Reporting progress to the owner everyday
Looking over payment requisitions
Manage daily onsite communication with client
Manage construction of NEW $65million Wastewater Treatment Plant
Coordinate/Work Alongside the Resident Engineer on site
Maintain old operating Treatment plant while new one is being built
Subcontractor management and coordination
Maintaining a budget
Reviewing plans and specs to ensure project remains on schedule
RFIs' Change Orders
Equipment:
Electrical controls
Waste water
Mechanical spar screens- washer and compactor for those
Host of pumps- clean water pumps
Grit classifiers- connect grit in a slurry and take out as much water as they can and dump into a container
Oxidation ditch – tank on site- there are mechanical aerators
Next treatment are other clarifiers
Material that settles to the bottom of the tank
Chemical storage and feed coagulant and stream into clarifier
Mixers and two tanks to keep the water moving and fresh
Disc filters – to make clean water
Ultra-violent disinfection- light bulbs in water to disinfect
Rotary drum thickeners- takes waste sludge and thicken to solid – have pumps that move it to bolted steel tank
