Job Description
Intel announced that it has selected an area near Wroclaw, Poland, as the site of a new cutting-edge semiconductor assembly and test facility. This facility will help meet critical demand for assembly and test capacity that Intel anticipates by 2027.
Design and planning for the facility will begin immediately, with construction to commence pending state aid approval procedure by the European Commission and the Polish Government.
Intel's planned investment in Poland adds to Intel's current and future plans for Europe, including its existing wafer fabrication facility in Leixlip, Ireland and its planned wafer fabrication facility in Magdeburg, Germany.
Combined, these facilities will help create an end-to-end leading-edge semiconductor manufacturing value chain across Europe. It will also serve as a catalyst for additional ecosystem investments and innovation in Poland and the European Union.
The role is for an experienced procurement or commercial professional that will:
Be responsible for the development and management of the construction supply chain to support the delivery and operation of the new facility in Wroclaw.Develop and manage internal and external relationships to provide sustainable cost, quality, availability and technology solutions while adhering to procurement policies.Partner with a diverse stakeholder base to lead and develop multiyear commodity strategies based on business/market intelligence, long term analysis of the category/commodity and the supply ecosystem.Acquire and maintains industry, market and technical knowledge of commodities.Lead supplier sourcing, selection and performance management. Negotiates purchasing contracts, statement of works and pricing for goods and/or services.Drive cost saving opportunities in partnership with suppliers and stakeholders to meet business objectives.May develop new supply chain models for new or existing products or services.This role entails intensive planning and design efforts in various areas of this function, for this project and related projects.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess at least one of the following degrees plus the years of experience determined for each degree in the areas specified below:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field of study.7+ years of experience in the Construction or Construction related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of contracts, contract law, and claims management processes and procedures.Construction Services procurement planning and procurement policy expertise.- Supply chain and supplier management experience.Working knowledge of project management skills and methods.-Understand and apply benchmarking concepts.Knowledge of the local/regional market in relation to industry trends and norms.
Other Information:
The final location for this role will be the Wroclaw site, with the interim location being Home Based Office until the Wroclaw office premises are available.

Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
