Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader leading teams within a consulting or complex industry/distribution environment. Demonstrates extensive abilities of Supply Chain Warehousing and Distribution including demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the following:
Defining, designing, and reviewing warehouse operations, processes, operating model, product flow, planning processes including forecasting, demand planning, supply planning, S&OP / S&OE, capacity planning, inventory planning, and Integrated Business Planning;Developing detailed facility designs, warehouse layouts, material flow, material handling equipment requirements;Significant experience with AutoCAD, including individual responsibility for end-to-end concept to firm engineering design of complex warehouse facilities;Multi-dimensional knowledge, experience, and extensive understanding of material handling and automation capabilities including, but not limited to: ASRS, Shuttle Systems, Autonomous Mobile Robotics (AMRs), automated packaging and labeling, and complex sortation systems;Demonstrating excellence in project management, leading direct and indirect reports in a matrixed and multi-echelon environments;Leveraging proven capabilities to work with complex planning data and analytical tools (e.g Excel, PowerBI, Alteryx, etc.) to identify overall supply chain and facility design opportunities, model alternative approaches, and lead business case development to support design decisions and investment requirements;Utilizing managerial-level leadership experience with recognized material handling equipment, automation, or facility design firm; and,Understanding of overall supply chain market best practices, trends in advanced automation, facility design standards, and landscape of providers.
Demonstrates extensive abilities and success history with managing the identification and addressing of client needs with a focus on design, process, and technology changes to supply chain organizations by:
Leading teams to generate a vision for supply chain strategy, as well as warehouse design criteria and "four wall" operations, establish direction and motivate internal and external team members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation;Participating in client discussions and meetings, managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents, conducting analytics associated with planning processes and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues;Creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members; and,Providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner; and keeping leadership informed of progress and issues.
