Requisition Summary
The Connected Compliance Manager will lead a team of engineers responsible for analyzing, validating, visualizing, and reporting emissions and On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) compliance data for consumption by external regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders. The position is located in Lewisville, TX.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
Direct compliance data analysis and reporting activities utilizing connected data, including OBD Production Vehicle Evaluation (PVE3), Deterioration Factor (DF) Reporting, Over the Air (OTA) programming, and others as required.
Stay current on proposed and enacted emissions and OBD regulatory data requirements and collaborate with internal teams to implement all required data in our connected vehicle program.
Develop data evaluation methodologies for continuous tracking of OBD performance during development and production product phases.
Innovate ways of visualizing data to support Compliance and other business needs.
Provide support to the Compliance organization as required, including analysis for agency interactions, onsite technical support at supplier locations, and onsite testing support at truck plants.
Present interim and final project reports to management, engineering teams, and other key stakeholders.
Manage team assignments, priorities, workload, personnel development, team building and project tracking.
Travel up to 15% required.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry, telematics, or data analytics.
Familiarity with telematics and database management.
Working knowledge of data analysis, visualization, and report generation.
Ability to summarize and communicate technical issues effectively.
Agility to manage team workload under potentially shifting time and project demands.
Effective at developing and maintaining positive work relations in cross-functional teams.
Desired Skills
Experience in engine, heavy-duty truck, or automotive testing.
Familiarity with OBD and emissions compliance requirements.
Education
BS or MS degree in electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering or similar technical discipline
