Northrop Grumman's MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) provides real-time intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) over vast ocean and coastal regions. The aircraft can fly for more than 24 hours at a time, at an altitude above 55,000 feet and an operational range of 8,200 nautical miles. Australia is a cooperative program partner in the Triton program which consists of the US Navy, Royal Australian Air Force and Northrop Grumman.
Your role:
You will be responsible for guiding the day-to-day activities of our Configuration and Data Management (CM) team. Your leadership will be crucial in managing complex aviation issues and ensuring the team's success in meeting operational and maintenance requirements. As a CM Leader, you will be the driving force behind our compliance with customer and DASR (Defence Aviation Safety Regulations) requirements, providing effective leadership to a dedicated team while maintaining open communication with enterprise stakeholders.
You will be responsible for guiding the day-to-day activities of our Configuration and Data Management (CM) team. This role involves managing complex aviation issues, ensuring compliance with customer and DASR requirements, as well providing leadership for a dedicated team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing technical data from the US Navy, collaborating with engineers and technical teams, overseeing change qualification, scheduling and operational impact.
You will work closely with the Commonwealth to drive change, coordinate change control processes and prepare briefing packages for the customer.
About you:
To excel in this role, you should possess a Certificate or a relevant industry certification in Configuration and Data Management. You must have demonstrated leadership experience working within complex engineering environments, where you've led small teams to manage intricate aviation challenges. Your knowledge of aviation Configuration and Data Management, particularly concerning Defence configuration and change management process requirements, management of Weapon System Data Bases and tools such as Computer Aided Maintenance Management 2 (CAMM2), is essential for your success in this position. Effective periodic communication with all relevant enterprise stakeholders will be one of your key responsibilities, making your interpersonal and leadership skills indispensable in ensuring compliance and conformance.
