　　Computer Scientist II - Adobe Experience Platform

　　The Challenge

　　Our engineering team is responsible for Adobe Experience Platform that is uniquely poised to offer its services to build solutions to bring the delightful experience and intelligence in a far superior way which otherwise would not have been to manage and bring value to our customers. The Experience Platform provides state-of-the-art capabilities for data integration, data governance, advanced analytics, and machine learning services. We help our customers collect, manage, and synthesize petabytes of data with high fidelity and velocity. We help them make sense of that data, glean insights, and run algorithms, so they can deliver delightful experiences in real-time, every time.

　　Building a robust fault tolerant and highly available system at a very high scale while providing ease and convenience to disparate solutions and enterprise customer team is a key to our success. We use Big Data, Open-source technologies, and home-grown solutions to develop various services for Adobe Solutions, Customers and Partners.

　　We support very large enterprise products to support their customers spread at a very large geography. This requires disparate data sources and ingestion mechanism. The data must be easily accessible at very low latency to support different scenarios and use cases. We are looking for strong candidates having deep expertise in building low latency services at very high scale. The candidates would be leading our path to accomplish our vision.

　　What you will need to succeed

　　6+ years in Design, development and development of data driven large distributed systems

　　2+ years as an architect building a large data intensive/high scale/large distributed systems and services

　　In depth work experience on open-source technologies Apache Spark, Hadoop Stack, Kafka, etc.

　　Strong experience in RDBMS systems, SQL and Hive SQL and Presto DB

　　Work experience on one or more big data technologies on public cloud - Azure, AWS (Amazon Web Services), Google Cloud Platform

　　Great coding (design patterns) and design competencies setting up example for other to emulate. Contribution to Open source is highly desirable.

　　Proficiency in data structures and algorithms

　　Cost consciousness around computation and memory requirements

　　Strong verbal and written communications skills

　　BTech/MTech/MS in Computer Science

　　Strong management and leadership skills

　　What you will do

　　Lead the technical design along with implementation strategy for major systems & components of the Adobe Experience Platform

　　Evaluate, drive the architecture and technology choices for the major systems/components

　　Design, build and deploy the products with very high quality

　　Bring innovation in the current system to increase robustness, ease of development

　　Ability to articulate the design and code choices to cross functional teams

　　Ability to mentor and guide a high performing team

　　Reviewing and providing feedback on features, technology, architecture, design, time & budget estimates, and test strategies

　　Managing projects, mitigating risks & creative problem solving

　　Developing and evolving engineering and business process to optimize team's efficiency

　　Partner with other teams across Adobe for achieving common goals
