Summary : Combines direct experience working with seniors with skills in technology to provide computer instruction and supervision of all computer learning centers to ensure that a consistent, high quality and effective learning experience is provided to all senior's students: ensures that all facilities are utilized to the greatest extent possible. Plans, organizes and coordinates all activities of the computer learning center including curriculum, in class-activities, program and development.
Teaching a variety of computer classes to center members including but not limited to: Beginner, Intermediate, I-Pad, Surfing the Net, Excel.Able to prepare lesson plans and teach individuals or groups.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other technologyAble to multi-task and work independently with a great attention to detailAdhere to organization's standards by completing annual mandatory trainings in a timely manner on topics including - but not limited to - Sexual Harassment Prevention Training, IT Security Awareness, Compliance, OSHA, HIPAA and any other training the organization may deem necessary in regards to regulatory compliance or good business practices.Supports organization's mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers.Adheres to the organization's policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
Salary Range: $32/hr to $35/hr; commensurate with experience
Qualifications:
Two years teaching experience and the ability to design courses. Must be proficient in Word, XL and PowerPointExcellent communication and listening skillsExcellent customer service skills with a focus on treating clients with respect and dignityAble to multi-task and work with groups with a great attention to detail.
