Job Description:
The Compressor Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing compressor systems and components. This includes troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and making necessary repairs. The technician will also be responsible for following safety protocols and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Compressor Technician, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. This is a full-time position that may require on-call and overtime work as needed.
Skills Required:
Experience as a Compressor Technician
Knowledge of compressor systems and components
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose compressor issues
Experience with compressor maintenance and repair
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work on-call and overtime as needed
Position responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to the following:
Servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing air compressors, pumps, gear boxes, and related rotating equipment.
Provide detailed failure analysis as well as equipment/system recommendations to improve reliability and/or performance.
Completing work reports detailing work performed as well as parts lists and other required paperwork.
Maintain a service vehicle with proper equipment, tools, and parts to promote efficient, factory approved methods for servicing equipment.
Projecting a positive and professional image of Air Technologiesto customers, vendors, and co-workers.
Excellent technical and mechanical skills.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualificationsfor this position include:
High school diploma or GED degree
Multi-craft and/or technician experience desirable.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
A self-starter and highly motivated person
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and organized work habits allowing unsupervised work.
A commitment to the concept of "doing it right the first time"
Technically knowledgeable, conscientious, detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
Valid Driver's License, must be able to complete a drug test and background check.
Must be able to sit, stand, bend for long periods of time repeatedly.
Must be coachable.
