What You'll Do
Component planning and exception management for Passive and discrete, Linear materials to ensure continuity of supply to achieve Cisco’s revenue plans and support Customer commitments.
Fully understand the commodity landscape and partner with GSM to ensure supplier and commodity specific strategies exist to achieve Cisco business needs and requirements.
End-to-end supply planning (including co-planning with suppliers) for the related commodity.
Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain Operations (Regional Ops, GSM, Product Operations, GP&F, TnQ) and with suppliers and Hub partners to drive the component collaborative planning and execution process.
Develop a component demand supply plan: supply-demand balancing; supply availability; allocation management; delivery performance; upside flexibility investments.
Resolve escalated component shortages through active communication with relevant suppliers & regional stakeholders.
Manage/mitigate E&O through appropriate collaborative and analytical techniques.
Develop in partnership with Central GMO services an adequate analytics capability to orchestrate multiple streams of supply chain data to better understand supply continuity risks and make decisions.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s Degree with above 5 years of relevant working experience.
Significant and diverse supplier management experience preferred.
Strong industry knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures is a plus.
Ability to develop and execute short, mid, and long term strategies
Expertise in negotiation, building strong relationships internally and externally, and conflict resolution
Adept at influencing decisions and developing solutions to complex business situations
Strong influencing, collaboration, communication, and change management skills.
