Your role
Are you ready to partner with key stakeholders across our business to ensure we remain incompliance with all applicable laws and regulations?
We are looking for someone who can:
• conduct compliance testing reviews of applicable laws, rules, regulations, and controls
• align testing plans to annual Compliance Risk Assessments and incorporate regulatory priorities accordingly
• prepare detailed work papers to support the results of the testing program
• partner with business stakeholders from various product and control functions to help strengthen and complete any remedial action plans
• support Compliance Officers across a range of consumer compliance matters
• comply with all regulations, policies and standards to be in line with our compliance and risk management culture

Your team
The UBS Bank USA Compliance Team is based in Salt Lake City, UT, with roles aligned with products and services in Weehawken, NJ. You will primarily have regular interaction with business and Compliance partners, senior management in the Business, and partnering with stakeholders from various business and control functions to ensure that the Bank remains in compliance with all applicable banking laws and regulations

Your expertise
• a university degree with ideally 4-8 years of relevant experience within the banking sector(regulatory consumer compliance and/or audit)
• knowledgeable of banking laws/regulations, specifically Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) laws and regulations:
• excellent communication (both written and oral) with the ability to articulate logically and precisely
• strong organizational and project management skills
• analytical and team-oriented
• able to calmly manage conflict and pressure in a demanding, high-volume environment
• able to be flexible and capable of prioritizing based on changing demands
• knowledge of testing protocols
