Our Compliance team's goal is to ensure TJX conducts business with integrity and meets all global regulations. The Product Compliance organization contributes to this goal by ensuring the safety and compliance of products in our supply chain as they travel from the place of manufacture to our store shelves. The Compliance Risk Analyst will support the continued evolution of our compliance program. This role will be responsible for reviewing vendor compliance documentation and problem solving with merch ops, DC services, and the wider compliance team. Additionally, this Associate will be involved in creating a more compliance-aware culture by coaching and training merchants and support team on key compliance asks, communication with vendors, and other projects as assigned. This is a hybrid role based in our Marlborough, MA offices.
What You Will Do:
Review and validate product test reports, accept certificate of compliance and labels to ensure TJX merchandise conforms with both US regulations and TJX requirements.Is informational customer service resource for vendors looking to do business with TJX.Stay current on US product regulations (CPSC, FTC, EPA, USDA etc.) and provide guidance on standard methodologies and trends which could impact the company's compliance program.Work on projects related to compliance with US state, federal or local product laws that impact product safety and records management.Assist with daily product compliance program functions including incidence response. Assist in the training and coaching of merchants, product specialists, and merchandise assistants to create a more compliance-aware culture.Regularly collaborate with Associates in various departments throughout the company to promote the organization's compliance goals.
Who We Are Looking For: You
2-3 years comparable experience, compliance/product safety experience preferredStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and build effective working relationships with internal and external partners in a rapidly changing environmentComfortable collaborating and partnering with all levels across business functions including Merchandising, Legal, IT, Store Operations, and othersCritical thinking skills with common sense, pragmatic mindset Strong passion for process improvement, with ability to identify opportunitiesHighly organized with attention to detail, can prioritize multiple work streamsStrong follow-through and customer service skillsStrong training skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas and adapt communication to the needs of the audienceStrong verbal and written communication and presentation skills Proficient with Microsoft 365/Office suite including Excel as well as database management tools.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
