A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!
Develop and maintain compliance controls, monitoring solutions, and compliance reports. Perform in-depth analysis and develops recommendations to address compliance risks and issues. Assist in preparing all reporting to both internal and external compliance agencies. Make recommendations and lead data consistency and cleanup efforts. Conduct cross-training and provide critical coverage to the SC&M NERC CIP-related tasks such as patch management, change configurations management, information management, and access management. Conduct independent research when recommending appropriate solutions.
Qualifications
The Essentials
Five or more years of combined experience in data analytics, regulatory compliance, and/or cybersecurity.
The Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or other STEM related field. Experience working with Federal or State regulatory compliance entities and programs such as ISO, NERC/FERC, and CPUC. CompTIA Security+, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, GSEC, CEH. Experience working with large data sets and complex reports. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient with SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Proficient with querying tools like SAS Base or SAS Enterprise Guide.

This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. Position will require up to 10% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory. This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
