Compliance Analyst
Scope of position:
Responsible for supporting the regulatory Compliance Director and MLRO primarily in the UK and at times, more broadly in EMEA.
Position Overview:
Fiserv operates a three lines of defence model, widely adopted in the financial industry. The position is within the second line of defence and responsible for assisting with the deployment of Fiserv’s Compliance program primarily in the UK and more broadly in EMEA.
The Regulatory Compliance Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Regulatory Compliance Director, engaging directly with the first line of defence, senior leadership within the Fiserv group and if required, regulatory authorities.
Assist with and perform regulatory compliance activities that support Fiserv’s ability to create value for investors, serve the needs of our clients and owner-associates, and meet regulatory obligations and standards. Maintain comprehensive governance and working partnership with business colleagues and clients to fulfil oversight and regulatory responsibilities.
Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Compliance Director and MLRO, the role will be hands-on, highly-engaged and involved in virtually all aspects of regulatory compliance within the UK and more broadly in EMEA
Assisting with reviews, risk assessments and monitoring and testing to ensure end to end compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, policies and procedures
Engaging with internal and external legal counsel, audit and other business functions on compliance matters
Liaison with business management regarding their Business Unit queries, testing and monitoring results, changes in the regulatory environment and non-compliance with relevant policies and procedures
Improve the organisation’s understanding of the Three Lines of Defence Regulatory Compliance Program and oversight of risks to support a risk-aware culture and drive risk ownership with business and process owners
Specific activities will include:
Regulatory reporting
Incident reporting
Regulatory horizon scanning, identification, research and analysis of regulatory compliance rules and regulations
Regulation / rule mapping and implementation
Engagement with the Financial Crimes Unit and Data Protection Officer
Participation in certain committees and engagement with the Board of Directors.

Position Requirements
Prior experience / exposure to the payments industry within in a compliance or risk function desirable.
Previous experience interacting with regulatory authorities would be useful, but is not obligatory. A sense of urgency, assertiveness, and directness.
Ability to adjust quickly to new demands, assimilate a vast array of information and shape priorities.
Experience of payments, merchant acquiring, card issuing services, and new payment methods preferred.
Ability to collaborate in a team based environment across functional disciplines and lines of business.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proactive and able to organize self and work.
Proven ability to communicate effectively in English at all levels both orally and in writing.
