The Competitive Account Executive is a field-based position focused on sellingDiagnostic Imaging products into hospitals, imaging centers, radiationoncology, etc. The focus of this role is to penetrate competitiveaccounts, currently not purchasing Siemens products, by driving competitiveconversions, increase Siemens Healthineers footprint, and increase marketshare. This roleserves as the primary contact for our customers as they investigate theacquisition of Siemens Medical Solutions products and services. This is anexcellent opportunity for an individual that is highly competitive, desires topincome, works well in a team-selling environment and strives to win and besuccessful. Our products are industry and clinically recognized as being thebest for both patient care and providers. We are searching for top salesprofessionals looking to build their own franchise and realize virtuallyuncapped earnings potential.
Responsibilities:
Cultivating relationships with key clinical thoughtleaders and administrative C level officers.
Generating proposals, preparing sales quotations,planning customer meetings and demonstrating equipment capabilities.
Achieving business objectives for assigned territory.
Guiding the development and execution of strategicaccount plans to ensure achievement of assigned business goals andbudgets.
Developing, building and cultivating long-termrelationships with key management within the customer organization
Communicating current market intelligence to variousdecision makers within each account.
Assisting management in devising sales plans andstrategies, develop forecasts, budgets and operating plans for productsales channels.
Leading territory team reviews and updates of accountplan based on changing market, customer conditions, and competitiveactivity.
Required skills to have for the success of thisrole
BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, whererequired, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of experience selling capital equipment intohospitals.
Consultative approach to customer with experiencedeveloping and closing large contracts.
Experience carrying large quotas and working with longsales cycles as well as demonstrated success at meeting and exceedingthose quotas.
Must have experience working with sales quotas,forecasting.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, andExperience
Knowledge of diagnostic imaging products and systems applications3+ years of experience selling capital equipment into hospitals.· Hospital consultative services experience strongpreference
An extensive knowledge of the assigned major(corporate) customer Must have experience working with sales quotas, forecasting.
Budget processes as they apply to customer buyingdecisions Consultative approach to customer with experience developing andclosing large contracts.
