About Community Impact Manager

  The Community Impact Manager is responsible for the strategic direction for and day-to-day management of Robert Half’s community impact programs and team, reporting to and working in close partnership with the Sr. Director, ESG. The Community Impact Manager will independently manage multiple volunteering and philanthropy programs and ad hoc projects that range in size and complexity; strategically research community relations trends and recommend enhancements to existing programs and budgets; lead cross-functional project meetings; and manage and execute project deliverables independently and/or through others and will seek to align community impact programs to business strategy.

  The Community Impact Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to: acting as the point of contact for national nonprofit partners and making recommendations for new partnership opportunities and budget; managing signature programs like the Suit Drive, Holiday Giving, Quarterly Focus and International Day of Charity, and considering expansion and new program ideas; promoting community activities and programs through social media, videos and other channels, in partnership with the Marketing and Corporate Communications teams; managing the team who runs the Matching Gifts and Employee Emergency Fund programs; consulting with the field, international, corporate HR Business Partners, Field Communications and Engagement team, and Culture Ambassadors on local strategy and program recommendations; creating and implementing communications about program awareness, activities and resources; maintaining online information, including website and intranet content; and providing content for the Annual Report, proxy statement and annual ESG report, among other internal and external publications. The Community Impact Manager will work closely across internal and external stakeholders to engage and support volunteer and giving programs across the enterprise including both Robert Half and Protiviti.

  Specific responsibilities include:

  Supervises matching gifts and employee emergency fund programs, including regular meetings with vendors, to ensure platforms and programs meet the needs of our business and employees across North America and internationally. With support of Specialist and contractors, answers questions from employees, nonprofits and vendors, working in partnership with Legal, as needed.

  With support from cross-functional team, manages all aspects of programs and team – employee volunteering, corporate philanthropy, campaigns and partnerships such as Suit Drive, Holiday Giving, Week of Service and International Day of Charity – including internal and external promotion, evaluating success and suggestions for improving existing programs and new opportunities.

  With support from Specialist and team, supervises implementation of field grants and the Corporate Services Grants Committee, ensuring the committee has proper representation from all business units.

  Maintains scholarship programs and researches/makes recommendations for new opportunities.

  Participates in planning and program development for the Culture Ambassadors to encourage participation in community relations and volunteering, enhance and improve these programs, and develop volunteer stories that can be shared with multiple audiences. Also supports community relations, awareness and engagement programs for Salaried Professionals.

  Continue to find innovative ways to integrate community impact programs enterprise-wide and increase employee participation.

  In partnership with Internal Communications, Public Relations, Field PR, Social Media and other teams, identifies appropriate audiences and communication channels to support strategy and programs.

  With support from above teams, manages content for signature programs – such as toolkits, frequently asked questions and intranet content – for internal and external communication channels, like emails, intranet, website, Yammer and the ESG report. Considers additional signature programs and outreach campaigns.

  Working with Community Impact team and HR Business Partners, serves as primary contact for multiple employee audiences for volunteer and community relations program questions and support, as well as giving/volunteering for DEI internal and external partners.

  Supports local volunteer programs and opportunities impacting Corporate Services employees. Explores additional engagement opportunities, such as a volunteer panel discussion, nonprofit board service, etc.

  Reviews employee survey feedback and develops plans to respond and enhance programs to meet employee expectations. Explores enhanced integration with teams such as Staff Development, Recruiting, Onboarding, etc.

  Partners with field/corporate HR Business Partners, and Culture Ambassadors to identify opportunities for community involvement. Working with Internal and Field Communications and Engagement teams, develops ongoing campaigns to encourage involvement in these programs.

  Collaborates with the DEI team and Protiviti to support community engagement and volunteering through the Communities of Inclusion and DEI strategic partners.

  Serves as a primary point of contact between Robert Half and nonprofit partners. In addition to national and international partnerships, supports relationships with nonprofits that are local to our Corporate Services locations or have executive champions. Works with key contacts to develop and implement partnership agreement and activities, evaluates program success, and makes recommendations for improvements or new partnership opportunities. Also supports corporate and field leaders with local and national involvement and engagement opportunities.

  Travels for meetings with national nonprofit partners and attendance/support at national events and conferences (e.g., Boys & Girls Clubs Partner Conference, Dress for Success Success Summit, Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship International Conference, etc.).

  Makes recommendations for new programs based on competitive research and employee engagement, as well as collaboration with Protiviti and IZ leadership. Creates and executes community relations strategy to advance Robert Half’s mission statement.

  Qualifications:

  BA/BS required

  Four or more years of experience in community programs, nonprofit, foundation or corporate contributions; background in social impact or communications helpful.

  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; program/project management; event experience

  A successful candidate for this position will be a self-starter who seeks to contribute to and improve existing programs; is passionate about community involvement and outreach; demonstrates excellent judgment; and is able to work with individuals with a variety of communication styles and at different levels throughout the organization. Must have the ability to think strategically and manage many projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and manage people with compassionate leadership.

  The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.

  $99,000.00 - $152,000.00
