Job Description
Coordinates and performs administrative duties supporting the functional and operational needs of the Family Medicine Group.
Job Responsibility
Collaborates with healthcare team to review future patient appointment schedules to ensure schedule efficiency.
Identifies and obtains patient test results (labs, radiology, consults, etc.) prior to patient's scheduled appointment.
Enters all required information into electronic medical record for physician review.
Performs patient follow-up to ensure prescribed tests, procedures, etc. are completed.
Assists patients in scheduling appointments (follow-up, consultation, laboratory, radiology, etc.) with ancillary providers, as needed.
Addresses patient issues that can be resolved prior to appointment (i.e. normal test results, medication refills, etc.); contacts patient to resolve such issues and remove appointment from schedule.
Gathers patient data, performs data analysis and reports on various metrics to management.
Recommends and facilitates process improvement initiatives related to patient information flow with ancillary departments.
Participates in healthcare team meetings related to patient-centered care; assumes responsibility of clinical team member's administrative duties, as needed, to improve overall practice efficiency.

Job Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
