The Community Engagement Liaison cultivates the organization's social community through advocacy programs and active engagement in their region. The individual in this role builds visibility and credibility of Humana's products and services throughout the community through interactions, in person and via social media. This role strategizes to drive greater connections among community members and engages new enrollees.
Hiring individuals residing in Oklahoma----Tulsa area as well as in the SE and NW regions of the state.
Position Responsibilities:
Travel throughout region to provide education about the organization to promote enrollment
Develop new forums to market and educate potential enrollees about the benefit of enrolling with Humana
Work with provider relations to develop marketing opportunities within health centers and physician offices
Maintain working knowledge of covered benefits and program changes
Coordinate community health fairs and other informational events
Conduct presentations to community groups in accordance with current approved communications and marketing plans and state regulations
Reside in the same region where they are assigned to work
Regular travel to conduct enrollee visits, provider visits, and community-based visits as needed to ensure effective administration of the Medicaid program

Required Qualifications
Associates degree in business, communications, or related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in community outreach or marketing and sales
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Customer service experience
Intermediate to advanced computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Adhere to Humana's Driver safety program and have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,000 limits
Adhere to Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program; screening for TB
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with Medicaid enrollees
Experience in managed care or health insurance
Knowledge of community health and social service agencies and additional community resources

Work at Home Criteria

Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
