The Communications Manager is a member of the Corporate External Communications team and will support core elements of the public relations function to build and protect the company’s reputation.

What you will do:
Develop executive visibility strategies and manage overall program, including pitching and securing media and speaking opportunities
Draft content such as LinkedIn posts, articles, presentations, talking points and briefing documents
Research, assess and make recommendations on incoming requests for senior leaders
Monitor and stay current on topics related to executive visibility programs and translate those insights for the leaders
Serve as an advisor to group and regional communicators on their executive visibility programs and activities
Measure program results and evolve recommendations as needed
Ensure alignment with company narratives and communications guidelines
Support in the development of other communications staff members through best practice sharing
Manage ongoing development and learning opportunities for communicators in partnership with agency
Act as a supporting member on the crisis and issues communications response team as needed
Collaborate closely with Corporate Communication team members and group/division/function/region communicators
Ensure communications are in alignment with the company’s strategies, goals, objectives and brand
Ensure external materials are appropriately reviewed and approved according to approval processes
What you need:
Bachelors degree in English, journalism, communications, public relations or related field is preferred
8 years work experience in corporate communications or an agency setting
Experience working directly with and advising senior leaders on their executive visibility programs
Understanding of how media works and experience working with social media platforms
$ 91,000 - $ 210,100 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
