Meta is seeking a highly motivated Communications Manager to create awareness and excitement for Reality Labs and all its products. This person will work across an exciting range of products and services that are a part of the phase of the internet, the metaverse. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about new technology, understands culture, brings creativity, and writes well. This individual should have a track record of planning and executing announcements, reviewing campaigns and working cross-functionally across product, marketing and partners.
Communications Manager, Reality Labs Responsibilities:
Create strategic plans and campaigns to advance product adoption and company reputationTell amazing stories about our products and their impact on peopleMaintain relationships with members on the mediaThink through integrated marketing communications across all channels, including owned, earned and socialHelp shape the tone for Reality Labs to create messaging and tactics that will resonate with young adults around the worldWork directly with executives to shape how they can help advance our campaigns or narrativesWrite content such as social posts, blogs, pitches, and other creative materials that evangelize various announcements and milestonesLead press events, prepare spokespeople, and create briefing materialsCollaborate across multiple functions including engineering, product, marketing, content, and communications on communications plansMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications or related field6+ years of experience in communications or a related fieldPreferred Qualifications:
