Representing PepsiCo's philanthropic arm, this role resides in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, reporting to the Senior Director of PepsiCo Foundation Communications & Engagement.
We're seeking a Communications Manager to support the development and lead the execution of marketing and communications plans that elevate and advance the visibility of the Foundation and its programs. You will identify compelling ways to communicate how the Foundation's mission and investments benefit society overall and local communities around the world. You will increase awareness of Foundation programs locally and globally through effective collaboration with Foundation Leaders and Communications colleagues. Marketing and communications efforts will be powered by innovative approaches and strong insights on our various stakeholder audiences, as well as be informed by Winning with pep+ (PepsiCo Positive). To succeed, you will be well-informed on the evolving earned, paid and owned media landscape and all mediums including print, broadcast and digital. You will also operate in a highly collaborative way with Foundation team members, nonprofit partners, grantees, public policy/government affairs, and corporate and brand communications.
The preferred location for this role is Purchase, NY but can also be located in Plano, TX or Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities
Support development of 360-degree strategic communications plans and lead day-to-day execution of cross-channel Foundation communications activities. Develop social media strategy, create content, and build measurement approach to drive the Foundation's growing social media presence, while collaborating with social and digital marketing experts across the country to further amplify Foundation efforts. Lead the sourcing and compilation of stories, data and spokespeople that demonstrate how the Foundation's work supports vulnerable communities and complements pep+ commitments - and identify communications opportunities to share these stories. Lead the validation of information and development of messaging for a range of Foundation communications materials including but not limited to press releases, speeches, fact sheets, talking points, presentations, op-eds, videos, infographics, and internal communications.Support the Foundation's thought leadership and executive visibility strategy and execution through content development, leadership briefings (including key message and speech writing), and social media engagement. Increase visibility of Foundation efforts with internal stakeholders through global editorial calendar and progress reports on PepsiCo Foundation activitiesSupport the development of toolkits and materials to maximize Foundation paid, earned, shared and owned communications opportunities that span corporate and local teams as well as external partners, lead the development of the social/digital aspects of program toolkits. Serve as cross-functional support to Food for Good team, raising visibility of their efforts with associates, partners, stakeholders, and customers. Contribute to improved measurement for the Foundation's communications by leading the analysis of program performance in measures beyond impressions; provide performance insights to enhance communications.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, English, Communications, PR or related field preferred.6+ years of PR/communications experience, including development of media materials, social media content (written and videos), 360 plans and executive key messages/speeches.Experience working in social/community impact, philanthropy and/or sustainability communications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in social media preferred including understanding of digital landscape and paid media amplification.Ability to think out-of-the-box to approach projects on time and within budget.Executive maturity and adept at building strong relationships and leading through influence with a wide range of business partners including internal executives, administrative support, contractors, agencies and non-profit partners.Ability to learn, assess and translate complex information/data into compelling stories. Ability to work in a highly matrixed global environment while balancing multiple priorities. Comfort with ambiguity and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. Excellent time management, organizational and project management skills.Resourceful, solutions-oriented mindset.Strong communication skills (written & oral).Strong skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Compensation and Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between $98,700 - $165,150 based on a full-time schedule.Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salaryBonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.
