Communication Manager
Position Description
The Homecare Homebase Communication Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective internal communication strategies and initiatives within the organization. This role is vital to ensuring employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with the organization's mission, vision, values, goals and objectives. The Communication Manager works closely with various stakeholders to create and maintain a positive and transparent internal communication environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement internal communication strategies and plans that align with the organization's mission, vision, values, goals, and objectives. Develop and maintain a strategic, complete, and thoughtful company calendar centered around the product/engineering cycle. Develop and maintain process for keeping the company's intranet fresh as Content Owner. Create and execute effective internal communication campaigns, presentations, and all relevant communication materials. Partner with Marketing to manage employee and/or candidate facing social media platforms. Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all internal communication channels. Collaborate with various Executives, departments, and teams to gather information, news, and updates for internal communication purposes. Proactively identify and address internal communication needs, challenges, and opportunities. Own internal event planning: employee events, town halls, leadership meetings and other meetings as requested to foster engagement and promote a positive internal culture. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives and make recommendations for improvement. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in internal communication. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on internal communication matters. Collaborate with Human Resources and Training to achieve objectives.REQUIRED SKILLS:

Bachelor's degree in communication, public relations, journalism, or a related field. Proven experience in internal communication Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling messages. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Knowledge of various communication channels and tools, including intranet platforms, email marketing software, and social media platforms. Strong organizational and project management skills. Familiarity with change management principles is a plus.
