　　About The Role:

　　Capital One is looking for a strategic, results-driven communications professional to join a talented group of integrated communicators on our Corporate Communications team.

　　On the Corporate Communications team, you will be responsible for working with key executives and their leadership teams to understand areas of need and build sustainable communications strategies designed to share the vision of the organization as well as engage, empower and inspire associates. With a focus on executive and internal communications, you will be a part of a talented team who brings the organizational strategy to life for our associates. You will be responsible for executive-level communications and strategic storytelling to support the leaders and initiatives within our organizations. We are looking for a confident communications leader who is obsessed with inspiring change through innovative experiences, content, and storytelling.

　　This position requires exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills; experience consulting executives; the ability to lead projects and work with multiple stakeholders or partners to meet objectives; and a proven track record of building trusted relationships and influencing key stakeholders to achieve the best results with associates, customers and the business in mind.

　　Our Ideal Candidate Should Have:

　　Responsibilities Include:

　　Build and execute strategic plans for executive-level leader communications - to include written, speaking (both internal and external), as well as social mediaLead with the customer and translate needs into thoughtful strategyWrite, proofread, and edit communications needed to support strategic plansEffectively leverage a suite of communication channels - like email, Slack, video, internal social computing platforms, and social - while innovating on new channel opportunitiesWork effectively in cross-functional teams to advance the team and leadership's communication strategy and implement a range of creative solutions to reach key target audiences

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's degree or military experienceAt least 3 years of experience of executive communicationsAt least 5 years of experience in planning, execution, and analysis of communication programsAt least 7 years of experience in corporate communications, internal business communications, leading organizational change and communication projects, or any combination of these experiences

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　At least 1 year of experience in financial services, technology or other highly regulated industryAt least 1 year of project management experienceAt least 1 year of experience managing issues and organizational change communications

　　The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

　　New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $128,300 - $146,400 for Communications Manager

　　Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
