Overview
The role will support APAC Senior Director on the following
Shape APAC innovation strategy, identify and land common APAC platform.Work closely with capability lead to land all ad-hoc global initiatives while closing the gaps in BU specific required capabilityDrive APAC commercialization digitalization agenda
The role will work across all categories and all BUs in APAC and will have significant interactions with the BU Commercialization teams, Commercial Finance and Global Capability & Analytics teams
Responsibilities
Innovation Strategy
Support shaping APAC innovation strategy and identify and land APAC innovation common platformLand the program with optimized viability from APAC perspectiveIdentify the gap on the way of working and decision-making to step change the innovation agenda
Step up Innovation Capability:
Develop specific capability training programs across APAC on top of global fundamental to elevate APAC innovation commercialization capability, drive best-in-class pre- and post-launch innovation tracking and distil the learning for shaping innovation strategy.Lead to set up the agenda and facilitate the discussion for Sector Commercialization Leadership Team & Town HallKey docking point for Global Capability and lift and scale teams
Analytics agenda:
Develop & deliver Sector & BU innovation pipeline analysis to support the Foods & Beverages Category growth agendasDrive monthly reporting & analysis of innovation KPIs & metrics to propose the way forward for each BUPerform deep dive analytics to support specific project-based needs (e.g. category prioritization & resourcing decision support, speed-to-market assessments, etc.)Coordinate Beverages & Foods Innovation portfolio assessment & analysis to guide annual AOP processesDrive digitalization initiatives and upgrade team innovation E2E capability
Qualifications
10+ years working experience with minimum 5 years' experience in Innovation, Commercialization, or similarHigh levels of business acumen as a must-have: commercially savvy with outstanding analytical & problem solving skillsAbility to engage with & effectively influence senior stakeholders within the organization and across multiple functions Proven results delivering significant business change within a fast-paced, cross-functional, matrix environmentHigh level of organizational savvy and the ability to manage within ambiguity are a must for this roleAbility to be both challenging & enabling and comfortable managing conflictRich cross-category experience in delivering projects in the market (from idea to shelf)Extensive experience working in innovation, incl portfolio management Strong process & project mgmt skills
