About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Valuations Manager. This job is responsible for processing, monitoring, and examining client collateral information on asset based loans. Conducts verifications on account debtors, including high risk-rated, larger, more complex borrowers, and for new loans/prospective customers.
In this role, you will:Manage and develop a team of individual contributors with low to moderate complexity and risk in Commercial Valuations functional areaEngage stakeholders and internal partners associated with the functionOversee borrower collateral activity, ensuring the proper controls are in place to protect the bank's assets and to identify and mitigate riskMake recommendations to senior management on ways to limit the bank's exposure on assigned collateralIdentify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Commercial Valuations functional areaMake decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations of Commercial Valuations functional area and team to meet business objectivesInterpret and develop policies and procedures for Commercial Valuations functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibilityCollaborate and consult with Commercial Valuations peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers as well as interact directly with external customersServe as the liaison to Regional Portfolio Managers, Regional Credit Managers, operations and client services for items related to collateral activityManage allocation of people and financial resources for Commercial ValuationsMentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talentRequired Qualifications:
Experience in Commercial Valuations, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationLeadership experienceDesired Qualifications:Strong understanding on the Commercial Loan Cycle.Understanding on the following: Collaterals, Borrowing Based Certificate, Paydowns, Advances, Syndicated LoansHave management experience in a Shared Services EnvironmentJob Expectations:Willing to work on US Shift and will follow US HolidaysWilling to work on site based on current in-office expectationsWill be working in collaboration with India and US PartnersPosting End Date:
