Who we're looking for:
TRD is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Operations Planner to join our Commercial Operations team.
What you'll be doing:
Project management of all supply and demand aspects associated with TRD's commercial manufacturing operation.Point of contact and liaison between TRD and our commercial manufacturing supplier partners.Responsible for creation of all supplier purchase orders, receipt / on time delivery and certification tracking and communication of quality issues and performance.Scheduling coordination between TRD Manufacturing suppliers and TRD assembly.Providing technical data and feedback for component manufacturing processes, specifications, and criteria.Familiar with 2D drawing and 3D model use and understanding of required manufacturing capabilities, techniques, and efficiency.Management for commercial product vendor relationships for TRD's outsourced commercial components.Daily, weekly, and monthly supplier demand forecasting and maintenance of internal forecasts required for internal demand and production planning. Internal and external communication of forecasts to support high volume production and assembly.Forecasting of customer demand for internal manufacturing and supplier capacity balancing for multiple customers and product lines.Hands on purchasing activity associated with serial production components. (Quote review, purchase order creation, non-conformance management, etc.)Participate in the sourcing new suppliers for commercial product manufacture.
What you'll bring:
BS/BA in Supply Chain Management or Production Operations Analysis or equivalent experience. (minimum 3 years)Minimum 5 years' experience working or in a precision, high volume, CNC job shop environment, specializing in serial production.Minimum 5 years skill and experience interfacing, communicating, and collaborating with demanding customers and suppliers.Advanced skills in organization, Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic.Proficiency with supply chain processes such as Quotes, Purchase Orders, Receiving, Forecasting and Supply/Demand Planning.Working knowledge of software applications for Supply Chain Management (ERP), CAD / 3D modeling, and custom-built database products.Advanced communication skills (both written and verbal), skilled communicating in both technical and commercial settings.
Added bonus if you have:
Direct experience with production car component manufacturing.End to end experience configuring, testing, and using MRP / ERP procedures.Working knowledge of the following as applied to automotive and auto racing environments: DRBFM, Design methodology; FEA; development test and analysis; materials and failure analysis; manufacturing and fabrication techniques.Experience overseeing from initiation to production new commercial products.Understanding of 5 axis CNC manufacturing.Knowledge of GD&T features detailed on engineering drawings.

The annual base salary range for this position is
$80,100.00 - $130,100.00
