Who we're looking for

　　Zendesk is looking for an Associate Legal Counsel to join our Commercial Legal team, supporting Zendesks global Sales division. This role offers exposure to a wide array of commercial transactions and processes, and the opportunity to work closely with our regional teams across APAC, EMEA, AMER, and LATAM. This position is based in Manila and offers a flexible work arrangement, allowing for both remote and in-office work (office located in BGC) as needed.

　　What you'll be doing

　　Assist in reviewing and resolving commercial legal requests from Zendesks global Sales division, and negotiate various agreements with customers.Foster strong relationships with the Commercial Legal regional teams and global business partners in various departments to ensure alignment with Legal.Provide practical and business-oriented legal advice to business stakeholders on various legal topics, including legal research and Sales-facing training.Contribute to strategic projects for the success of our global Commercial Legal team.

　　What you bring to the role

　　Licensed lawyer eligible to practice law in the Philippines with a minimum of 3 years experience in corporate or commercial law in an in-house and/or law firm setting.Hands-on experience in processing and drafting contracts, particularly in the digital environment (SaaS, cloud computing) and IT law, and proficiency in negotiating a wide range of commercial and tech transactions.Tech-savvy with the ability to complete projects quickly and independently, and provide clear, concise, and actionable guidance on legal questions to non-lawyer stakeholders.Proven track record of performance in demanding, high-growth environments, with strong organizational, project management, and execution skills.Excellent English proficiency, both written and verbal, with strong communication and analytical skills.

　　In this role, youll work primarily remotely with the support of a dynamic and caring team. Well provide you with the digital tools and experiences to be together-even when were apart. Being digital first doesnt mean were digital only. Youll also have the flexibility to join us at a Zendesk workspace, in one of our Zendesk offices or our flex office spaces. We will bring our people together on occasion to connect, collaborate, learn, or celebrate in person.
